At Danville Schools, we have a trained team who will assess road conditions in the event of inclement weather. To find out if school is delayed, operating as a Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) Day, closed, or dismissing early, we will update families and staff via ParentSquare (phone call/text/email/app notification), social media (Facebook, Instagram and X), and on the danvilleschools.net homepage.
We will also notify the following local television and radio stations.

For preschool:
If there is a delay to the school day due to inclement weather, there will be no morning preschool.
For Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) days:
Grades PreK-8 receive NTI day packets so they can complete work from home. Grades 9-12 complete work virtually on NTI days. Contact your child's teacher with questions about NTI work.
