As part of the Community Schools initiative in the Danville Independent School District, local artist Brandon Long is teaming up with Edna L. Toliver Intermediate School's art teacher, Whitney Mason, and her students. 

Students in all grades at Toliver have been creating their own original line drawings during art class. Long will choose elements of the drawings to add to one cohesive mural, which will be in the main foyer at Toliver outside the cafeteria. Then, Long will choose colors for the mural, and students will paint it. 

The completed mural will be unveiled once it's finished.
