Edna L. Toliver Intermediate School has received a generous donation from Alan and Susan Arnold as part of a pledge to The Danville Schools Education Foundation & Alumni Association. The 10-year pledge is for $1,000 per year for materials for dissection experiments at Toliver.

Alan Arnold is a 1982 Danville High School graduate and has been named a Distinguished Alumnus. He and his wife, Susan Arnold, have been generous donors for a variety of projects, including the Arts Commission school play project, which has presented free original plays for Danville and Boyle County schools.

The Danville Independent School District is grateful for the Arnolds' donation and the learning opportunities it will provide for Toliver students.
