The Danville Independent School District is excited to not only have a book vending machine at Mary G. Hogsett Primary School, but at Edna L. Toliver Intermediate School too. The DISD is grateful to everyone who attended the ribbon cutting for the machine at Toliver Monday morning, and to Heart of KY United Way for funding the machines. Special thanks to The Gladys Project for providing books, as well.

Toliver students will be able to use tokens to get books from the machine for their birthdays, as rewards for positive behavior, for completing AR reading goals, and more. Teachers will also have tokens in their classrooms they can hand out to students for positive behavior.
