Mary G. Hogsett Primary School had a ribbon cutting on Monday for the school's new book vending machine. The machine accepts tokens students can earn on their birthdays and for other rewards. A kindergartener who had a birthday on Monday did the honors of cutting the ribbon and choosing a book to keep for the first time. Thank you to Heart of Kentucky United Way and The Gladys Project for providing books.
Toliver also received a book vending machine and will be doing their ribbon cutting later this month.
Hogsett students and staff also took a photo together Monday wearing T-shirts they received from Webster Orthodontics.
