On May 26, Danville Independent Schools staff gathered for a celebration of Staff of the Year at each school and on the district level. Winners were nominated and voted on by staff. 

Awards were Rookie of the Year, Classified Staff of the Year and Certified Staff of the Year. The DISD congratulates all of these dedicated staff members and thanks all staff districtwide for a great school year.

Mary G. Hogsett Primary School

Edna L. Toliver Intermediate School

John W. Bate Middle School

Bate had two Rookie Staff of the Year due to a huge influx of votes from Bate staff.
