Danville Schools implementing Thinking Maps into instruction: Spotlight on Bubble Maps Nov 12 2024 10:47 AM Bubble Maps are a Thinking Map used to describe. A guiding question for a bubble Map asks students how they would describe a given topic, and the adjectives they would use to describe its properties or qualities. Anna Samonds' and Robin Neeley’s 8th grade language arts classes chose a word to focus on for the school year for self-improvement and used a Bubble Map to describe. Students also made bracelets featuring the focus word. During their unit on suspense, 8th grade language arts classes completed Bubble Maps describing how Edgar Allan Poe created mood in “The Raven.” Kindergarten students use Bubble Maps to describe their class Crew Member of the Week.
