John W. Bate Middle School is excited to present its Disney on Broadway School of Excellence award production of Newsies, Jr. March 26-28 at the Gravely Hall Performing Arts Center, located at Danville High School. Inspired by the real-life events of the 1899 newsboys' strike, the Newsies musical is an upbeat celebration of friendship, solidarity and the written word.
There will be three performances, each at 7 p.m.
