Before spring break, Edna L. Toliver Intermediate School 5th graders presented their gateway projects, summaries of their experiences at Toliver.

Students could give a performance, present a timeline overview, give a slide presentation, present artifacts, and more. They shared their growth over the years, their readiness for middle school, their interests, and how they demonstrate the qualities of the Portrait of a Danville Learner, as well as identifying areas of growth.

The gateway presentations took place at Boyle County Public Library. Panelists who reviewed the presentations were Danville Schools staff and members of the community.
