  • Danville High School Announces Intersession Dates

Intersession will be the week of February 27th– March 2nd and will focus on students driving their own learning experience for the entire week. From designing their curriculum, executing planned activities, to developing the assessments by which they will be held accountable, students will have the choice to explore learning opportunities relating to college and career readiness. The idea behind the Intersession week is to engage students by giving students voice and choice in their learning. Whether they choose academic prep time, career exploration, a life skills class, job shadowing, college readiness activities, or just take a class they think would be fun or interesting; our goal is to develop student’s ability to take more responsibility for their learning.
