Jaymie Ross was born and raised in Boyle County.  She attended Perryville Elementary, Boyle Middle School, and Boyle County High School where she recieved an Advanced Diaploma.  Jaymie then was accepted at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC.  She was awarded a B.A. in Media Arts and a Minor in Elementary Education.  While in South Carolina she married her high school sweet heart, Steven Ross.  Upon their return to Danville she and her husband welcomed the birth of thier first child, Hunter, who is now a kindergartener at Jennie Rogers.  After recieving her Masters in Elementary Education with a 4.0 she began her teaching career a Jones Park Elementary in Casey County.  The following year Jaymie accepted a fourth grade position at Jennie Rogers.  During the 2007-2008 school year Jaymie and Steven welcomed thier second son, Gage, into their family.  Jaymie enjoys working outdoors and camping with her family all over the great state of Kentucky.
