Hi! My name is Sheri Satterly and I am the guidance counselor at Bate Middle School in Danville, Kentucky. This is my second year as guidance counselor at Bate. I taught seven years of general music in the elementary school before becoming a guidance counselor. I received my Bachelors' Degree in Music Education from Cumberland College, now University of the Cumberlands.  I have a Masters' Degree and Rank One certification in School Counseling from Eastern Kentucky University.  I am currently pursuing my second Masters' degree in Instructional Leadership to become a principal. I am receiving this Masters' degree from University of the Cumberlands.  I am married to my wonderful husband, Jeremiah. We recently celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary and just welcomed our first son into the world.  In my free time I enjoy running, riding my bike, and spending time with friends and family. I am an avid runner and cyclist. I have completed several 5, 10, and 15K races, three duathlons, seven mini marathons, and one full marathon. I love my job and my students very much. It brings my heart joy to see my students succeed on a daily basis! | |
