The mission of Mary G. Hogsett Elementary School is to empower teachers, administrators and parents to develop and implement policies and programs which promote a stimulating learning environment in which each student acquires knowledge, values and skills necessary to assume responsibilities in our society.
The mission will be achieved by respecting each student as a unique individual, by providing an appropriate curriculum and a flexible program which will encourage each student to reach his maximum potential.
Our students have learned to summarize this mission statement by reciting:
“Hogsett School, where staff and students excel, parents and community care.”
