2018-2019 - Notice of Non-Discrimination

 

Students, their families, employees and potential employees of the Danville Independent Schools are hereby notified that the school district does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, age, religion, marital status, gender or disability in employment, career and technical education programs, and/or activities as set forth in compliance with federal and state statutes and regulations.  The information in this notice is available in languages other than English by contacting the district office of the Danville Independent Schools.

For the 2018-2019 school year, the Danville Independent School District will offer career and technical education programs for all students regardless of race, color, national origin, sex or disability, including those with limited English proficiency, in grade 6-12.  At Danville High School, Marketing, Engineering & Technology and Allied Health are available.  At the Garrard County Area Technology Center, Automotive Technology, Carpentry, Electricity, Welding, Computer Assisted Design and Engineering are available to DHS students.  At the Kentucky School for the Deaf, DHS students can choose Animal Science, Horticulture, Culinary Arts, Advanced Manufacturing and Teaching & Learning.  In grades 6-8 at Bate Middle School, students have access to Career Exploration, Technology and Engineering & Technology.
