Notice of Non-Discrimination

 

Students, their families, employees and potential employees of the Danville Independent Schools are hereby notified that the school district does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, religion, marital status, gender or disability in employment, career and technical education programs, and/or activities as set forth in compliance with federal and state statutes and regulations.

The Danville Independent School District offers the following career and technical education programs for all students regardless of race, color, national origin, sex or disability, including those with limited English proficiency, in grade 9-12: Marketing and Engineering & Technology at Danville High School; Automotive Technology, Carpentry, Electricity, Welding, Computer Assisted Design and Engineering at Garrard County Area Technology Center; Industrial Maintenance, Information Technology, Computerized Manufacturing and Machining, Health Sciences (MNA), Wood Manufacturing and Computer Assisted Design at Lincoln County Area Technology Center; and Animal Science, Horticulture, Culinary Arts, Manufacturing Engineering and Informatics at Kentucky School for the Deaf.   For students in grades 6-8 at Bate Middle School, students are offered courses in Career Exploration, Technology & Engineering and Technology.
