Let Danville High School Students




You are invited to a unique art exhibit that’s filling the halls of Danville High School!


This summer a group of teachers from around the state attending a week long Arts and World Language Integration Next Generation Learning Academy, began work on a mural that expressed the colors and culture of Latin America and Spain. This week the students pick up were 63 teachers left off… completing one mural and designing and painting a second mural that will decorate the halls of their new 2nd floor lobby student lounge.



Please join DHS Visual Arts and Spanish students, their teachers and guest teaching artist Alfredo Escobar as they put the finishing touches these murals. This residency was made possible through arrangements with the Next Generation Academies sponsored by a the Kentucky Center and the Kentucky Center for the Arts.
