PHYSICS Grade level: 11-12 Credit: 1

Recommendation: Like the idea of being able to tell people that you took Physics in high school? What questions do you have about the laws of physics? Answer them by learning the scientific process and how to design your own experiments. Trig-based physics is the study of motion, the forces that cause and affect motion (i.e., inertia, force and acceleration, and gravity and reaction), the study of momentum, the study of work and energy, the study of gravity and gravitational interactions, the study of wave mechanics and sound, the study of electrostatics and electrical current, and the study of magnetism. Students exempted from Integrated Science must take this course to fulfill the Earth/Space Science content they missed their 9th grade year.
