The winning tradition of the Danville Admirals continues on with the boy's soccer team. The Soccer Admirals are one the oldest and most successful Class A public school programs in the state. Established in 1981, the soccer program has accomplished many great feats. The ADS have nine district and six regional championships and six appearance in the state tournament. In 2009, the boys made it all the way to the state semi-finals. They have made it to the All A State Cup nine times and were the 2010 Runners up. The boy's soccer team greatest achievements take place in the classroom. There have been 270 Academic All-State players, four Scholar All Americans, eight players selected to the NSCAA Academic All-Region team, and the team has been awarded the NSCAA Team Academic Achievement Award 12 times.
