Technology Available at Hogsett
The students and staff of Hogsett have a tremendous variety of technology available for them to use. Every K - 5 classroom is equipped with a mounted SMART Board or AirLiner Wireless slate and a ceiling mounted digital projector. Projectors are also mounted in the Computer Lab, Art Room, Music Room and Library. An additional portable projector and SMART Board is available to be used in the Gym, Cafeteria, or other accessible areas within the school.
Every classroom has 3 to 6 KETS standard workstations and 3 to 5 Playstations with Lightspan software. The Library Media Center has 7 student workstations in addition to the circulation desk and the Library Media Special's workstation. Teachers at Hogsett integrate technology into daily lessons to enhance instruction and improve productivity. Many assessments are performed online, providing immediate results.
