Hogsett STLP students have been working since the beginning of October researching, typing, and resizing photos to compile a photo history book that showcases the 100 years of Danville Schools. The book that they have created is for sale! If you would like to purchase a book, please click the picture to the left. Congratulations to 5th grader, Morgan Vest for her 1st place winning entry into the Danville Retired Teachers Grandparents Essay Contest. Morgan was our Hogsett winner as well as the 1st place winner in the Elementary District competition! WAY TO GO MORGAN!

Last May we held our second Celebration of Learning. The event was a tremendous success, with projects, performances and exhibits galore. Students and families crowded the halls and lobby of Danville High School and even spilled into Gravely Hall and onto the front steps! Such an exciting and important event for our community needs a LOGO that represents this unique celebration. On top of it all, this year’s Celebration of Learning is also a celebration of 100 years for Danville Schools! SO, WE ARE HAVING A CONTEST! Today marks the 100th birthday for the Danville School System!
Danville Schools are having it's first ever Junior Ads Triathalon. Hosted by the McDowell Wellness Center, our youngest triathletes will endure a 4.6 mile bike ride, a one mile run, and a 100 yard swim. Click the icon to the left to access the registration form!
