I graduated from Indiana State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Computer Literacy. Throughout my college career, I had experience working and teaching in grade K-5. I completed my student teaching in grades 5 and 2. I also substitute taught throughout my college career in grades K-8. Upon graduating from I.S.U., I moved to Danville, Kentucky and worked as a Targeted Assistance Teacher for 5th grade at Woodlawn Elementary School. I also substitute taught in both the Boyle Co. and Danville Ind. School districts for grades K-8. The following school year, I began my teaching career at Toliver Elementary School. I taught my first two years in a 2nd grade classroom and have taught the last 3 years in 1st grade.
