“In Roots And Shoots, we focus on three things. We focus on the environment, humans, and animals.” Patricia Calvert, sponsor of Roots And Shoots, says. “We take care and concern about three things because someone has to.  We do projects and activities within the group over these three things. There are no requirements except for commitment. You have to be committed to this group.”

     Roots And Shoots has meetings every Friday morning in Mrs. Calvert’s room discussing what they can do to help the community. “It’s a good, fun time,” Mrs. Calvert says. If you would like to join Roots And Shoots, you can always see Mrs.Calvert about the group.
