2015 Dancing With the Danville STARS!

Seven daring couples will be dancing in competition on November 7, 2015 at Danville High School Gravely Auditorium from 6-8:30pm. Hors d'oeuvres and desserts will be served. Beth Marlowe and Brent Beauman are teaming up to be the emcees. They have special entertainment planned that you will not want to miss. Representing our schools are music teacher, John Fleming and principal, Robin Kelly from Jennie Rogers Elementary; teachers, Katie Palmer, Jerrica Funkhouser, Laura Smith, Kandyce Montgomery, and Kendra Grimes from Toliver Elementary; principal Leo Labrillazo and student, Demani Bell from Hogsett Elementary; Jasmine Jones and Darell Rickmers from Bate Middle School; and teacher Ryan Adams with his wife Katie Adams from Danville High School. 2nd Annual Frank X Walker Festival Comes to DHS

The 2nd Annual Frank X Walker Festival, sponsored by the Citizens Concerned for Human Relations, will be hosted by Danville High School this Friday, September 18! Danville Alum and former Kentucky Poet Laureate Frank X Walker will be in attendance. Hasan Davis, Chautauqua performer and juvenile justice advocate will perform "York" for students from Bate Middle School, Danville High School, and students from Lincoln County Schools, Boyle County Schools, Kentucky School for the Deaf, Burgin Independent Schools, and Danville Christian Academy.   READ MORE...

Danville High Names New Assistant Principal

Danville High School named Haley Springate-Ralston as its new assistant principal. Ralston is a 1988 graduate of Danville High School who started her career as a Language Arts teacher. She has also served as a curriculum coach and assistant principal. Welcome Mrs. Ralston!   READ MORE...
