Alumni Spotlight: Alan Arnold

Alan Arnold: DHS class of 1982-Alan was recently awarded the Golden Hammer lifetime achievement award for his work with Habitat for Humanity since 1996. The Golden Hammer is Atlanta Habitat for Humanity's highest lifetime achievement honor and is given to the person who shows outstanding dedication to affordable homeownership and enduring commitment to Atlanta Habitat. Alan has worked with Habitat for Humanity in Atlanta since 1996. He was its first volunteer general counsel. He served two terms on the board of directors, and currently serves as chair of the Advisory Council. Atlanta Habitat is one of the most productive affiliates in the country, having built more than 1500 homes. Alan is also a Danville Schools Distinguished Alumnus. Congratulations Alan!
