Caleb Campbell, and 8th grade student at Bate Middle School, is one of Danville’s newest aspiring entrepreneurs. While participating in BMS’s service learning program, Caleb says he’s developed his organization and math skills, but he’s also gained some career aspirations. “I’ve learned I want to be an entrepreneur. I want to go to college, and then I want to help people however I can,” Campbell said. “He’s definitely grown. He’s had to be organized, and detail-oriented. He’s had to make sure our orders are accurate and that each item looks right,” owner Sarah Lee said. Caleb started working with X-treme signs last September as part of the BMS service learning program. He is one of 24 total students participating in shadowing opportunities across Danville, including at local businesses and schools. To learn more, contact Tony Carney.  READ MORE...
