DHS Wins Regional Speech Title

Danville High School placed first of all high schools competing in the twenty-four county Bluegrass Region of the Kentucky High School Speech League (KHSSL) and was named Regional Speech Champion on Saturday. DHS Robotics Team Advances to Knockout Round

In last weekend's VEX Robotics competition, DHS's team made it to the knock out round! Coach Danny Goodwin says, "Our kids are rocking and rolling. Every week, they make adjustments and challenge themselves to do better. Thinking on your feet and real-time problem solving is the name of the game with VEX Robotics!" In state rankings released this week, DHS was tied for fourth in driver skills. They entered 3 robots for competition this year, up from 1 last year. Congrats to our Robo Ads!  READ MORE...
Jane Dewey Receives the 2015 Arts Citizen Award

Congratulations to our very own Director of Arts Education, Jane Dewey. Jane has been awarded the 2015 Arts Citizen Award from The Arts Commission. Jane works with all five of our schools on implementing the arts. She has served tirelessly in this role since 2000.   READ MORE...
